Renovación Nacional remite a senadora Camila Flores al tribunal supremo por investigación de fraude

La directiva de Renovación Nacional pasó este viernes a la senadora Camila Flores al Tribunal Supremo del partido. La decisión responde a una investigación reservada de la Fiscalía de Valparaíso por presunto fraude al fisco.

La medida se adoptó luego de que personal del OS-9 de Carabineros llegara el miércoles a la oficina de la parlamentaria en el Congreso Nacional para realizar diligencias. La investigación, a cargo de la fiscal Paola Castiglione de la Unidad Anticorrupción, indaga un eventual descuento irregular de remuneraciones a asesores durante el período en que Flores fue diputada entre 2018 y 2026.

La secretaria general de RN, Katherine Martorell, confirmó que el partido entregó todos los antecedentes al Tribunal Supremo. “Nosotros hemos entregado todos los antecedentes al Tribunal Supremo para que adopte las medidas que correspondan de acuerdo a nuestros estatutos”, señaló.

Martorell agregó que Renovación Nacional espera que la justicia actúe “con la máxima celeridad y rigurosidad posible”. La senadora Camila Flores ha calificado las acusaciones como “sin sustento” y su abogado, Luis Masferrer, anunció acciones judiciales.
