Renovación Nacional encaminha senadora Camila Flores ao tribunal supremo por investigação de fraude

A liderança do Renovación Nacional encaminhou a senadora Camila Flores ao Tribunal Supremo do partido na sexta-feira. A medida segue uma investigação sigilosa da Procuradoria de Valparaíso sobre suposta fraude pública.

A decisão ocorreu após agentes da divisão OS-9 dos Carabineros chegarem na quarta-feira ao gabinete da senadora no Congresso Nacional para realizar diligências. A investigação sigilosa, conduzida pela procuradora Paola Castiglione, da Unidade Anticorrupção, examina supostos descontos irregulares nos salários de assessores enquanto Flores atuava como deputada, de 2018 a 2026.

A secretária-geral do RN, Katherine Martorell, confirmou que o partido entregou todos os registros ao Tribunal Supremo. “Entregamos todos os antecedentes ao Tribunal Supremo para que adote as medidas correspondentes de acordo com os nossos estatutos”, declarou.

Martorell acrescentou que o Renovación Nacional espera que a justiça proceda “com a maior rapidez e rigor possíveis”. A senadora Camila Flores descreveu as acusações como “sem fundamento” e seu advogado, Luis Masferrer, anunciou medidas judiciais.
