Scindia invité à restreindre son entourage lors d'une visite au Sikkim

Le bureau du ministre de l'Union Jyotiraditya Scindia a été prié de limiter son entourage au strict minimum lors d'une visite de trois jours au Sikkim. Cette demande intervient à l'approche de la fête de l'État le 16 mai. L'équipe de Scindia se déplace avec un seul véhicule.

Cette directive fait suite à l'appel du Premier ministre Narendra Modi en faveur de l'économie de carburant. Scindia, bénéficiant d'une protection de catégorie Z, évite depuis longtemps les convois élaborés et les voitures pilotes. Il voyage généralement dans un seul véhicule, tant dans la capitale qu'ailleurs.

Le voyage de trois jours au Sikkim est prévu pour la fête de l'État, le 16 mai. Les autorités ont demandé au bureau du ministre de maintenir le groupe aussi restreint que possible, compte tenu de l'organisation avec un seul véhicule.

Scindia aurait suivi de telles pratiques depuis le début de sa vie publique. Cette initiative s'inscrit dans le cadre d'efforts plus larges visant à réduire la consommation de carburant lors des déplacements officiels.
