Le Festival de cinéma de Sedona a récemment présenté « The Rebel Reef: Seeds of Hope », un court documentaire marquant le premier projet de film de la productrice Tiffany Duong. Le film met en lumière des thèmes de résilience au milieu d’un récif corallien mystérieusement prospère. La réalisatrice Brynne Rardin a expliqué que le documentaire avait été inspiré par une conversation impliquant Rardin, Duong et le sujet principal du film, Christian Carias. Carias, reconnu comme le seul divemaster du Honduras, est montré en train de plonger et d’étudier le corail Elkhorn à Tela, au Honduras.
