Meta a commencé à tester un nouveau chatbot IA sur Threads que les utilisateurs ne peuvent ni bloquer ni désactiver, suscitant une frustration généralisée sur la plateforme. Le compte public a suscité des réponses virulentes et est devenu la principale tendance avec plus d'un million de publications. Les tests sont actuellement limités à quelques pays.

Meta a annoncé hier la phase bêta initiale de son chatbot IA pour Threads. La fonctionnalité imite Grok sur X et n'est initialement disponible qu'en Malaisie, en Arabie saoudite, au Mexique, en Argentine et à Singapour. Malgré ce déploiement limité, le compte @meta.ai est visible par tous les utilisateurs de la plateforme.
