Stolt told Barometern that coordinating travel, hotels, and ferries could force teams to arrive two days early in worst-case scenarios. He compared it unfavorably to away games against Modo in Örnsköldsvik, where buses suffice, or Björklöven, where costs align despite the distance. Without funds to fly, Kalmar estimates each trip at around 100,000 kronor, driven by ferries and meals. Nybro Vikings shares similar worries. Klubbdirektör Anders Westring anticipates a six-figure expense per visit, far exceeding what promotion by Hudiksvall would have cost.
