The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported localized thunderstorms and habagat effects for Tuesday, July 14.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms will affect the Visayas on Tuesday, July 14, due to localized thunderstorms caused by daytime heating. Cebu will see temperatures from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius with light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
The southwest monsoon or habagat is forecast to bring strong to gale-force gusts over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Cavite, Batangas and Occidental Mindoro. Cloudy skies with scattered rains are likely over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and La Union.
Tropical Storm Josie, internationally named Haishen, was located 1085 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas moving northwestward at 25 kilometers per hour with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour.
