Alexander Zverev has returned to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca to prepare for the upcoming hard-court season. The German player, now a Grand Slam champion, is training with his father this time around.
Zverev arrived at the facility this week for training sessions focused on the US Open swing. Footage from the academy showed him on court under the guidance of his father, Alexander Zverev Sr., without Rafael Nadal or Toni Nadal present.
Last summer, after a first-round Wimbledon exit, Zverev trained there for ten days with input from both Nadals. He credited that visit with helping him overcome mental challenges, noting in an RTL+ interview that Nadal shared similar experiences from his own career.
Zverev went on to win his first major title at Roland Garros and reached the Wimbledon final this year. He is scheduled to begin his hard-court campaign at the Canadian Open before heading to the US Open in New York.
