Sky Sports commentator David Croft has warned that Sergio Perez could become frustrated with Cadillac's operational limitations in its first Formula 1 season. The team has shown pace but remains without points after five races. Perez retired early from the Canadian Grand Prix due to a suspension failure.
Croft highlighted issues such as the team's inability to double-stack pit stops during the Canadian Grand Prix. He noted that both drivers were left on intermediate tyres longer than ideal because Cadillac is still developing these procedures as a new entrant. Croft said the car has more potential that is currently held back by inexperience after just five races.
