First national farmers research conference held at Meda Welabu University

The first national farmers research conference has begun at Meda Welabu University. Farmers gathered to share their experiences and indigenous knowledge.

The conference allows farmers to share experiences from their agricultural lives and present indigenous practices. It also serves as a forum to discuss challenges and receive input from university researchers.

University president Dr. Birhanemeskel Tena stated that farmers ensure Ethiopia's prosperity through diligence and quality. He noted that the event consolidates knowledge from the ground and enables farmer-to-farmer exchange of ideas.

Farmers continue to contribute to livestock and crop development despite insufficient technology supplies, participants highlighted.
