La première conférence nationale sur la recherche agricole a débuté à l'université de Meda Welabu. Des agriculteurs se sont réunis pour partager leurs expériences et leurs connaissances ancestrales.

La conférence permet aux agriculteurs de partager les expériences de leur vie agricole et de présenter leurs pratiques ancestrales. Elle sert également de forum pour discuter des défis rencontrés et recueillir les conseils des chercheurs universitaires.

Le président de l'université, le Dr Birhanemeskel Tena, a déclaré que les agriculteurs assurent la prospérité de l'Éthiopie grâce à leur diligence et à la qualité de leur travail. Il a souligné que cet événement consolide les connaissances de terrain et favorise l'échange d'idées entre agriculteurs.

Les participants ont souligné que les agriculteurs continuent de contribuer au développement de l'élevage et des cultures, malgré une offre technologique insuffisante.
