Four men were shot dead and two others injured in an armed attack in the early morning of December 12, 2025, in Irapuato's Colonia Morelos, Guanajuato. The incident happened as the victims were attending a street gathering for the Virgin of Guadalupe celebrations. One of the fatalities was identified as Eder, known as 'El Flako', a member of the Club Deportivo Irapuato's hardcore fan group.
The armed attack took place around 1:00 a.m. on December 12, 2025, in Colonia Morelos, between Benito Juárez and Vicente Guerrero streets, in Irapuato. Witnesses reported that the victims were outside a home participating in a Virgin of Guadalupe celebration when assailants on motorcycles approached and fired indiscriminately.
Irapuato Municipal Police responded to the scene after a call to the 9-1-1 emergency center. They found four men dead; two others had already been taken to a hospital by civilians due to severe injuries. The area was secured by preventive police while experts and agents from the Guanajuato State Attorney General's Office conducted evidence collection and opened an investigation file. The bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for legal autopsies.
The Attorney General's Office confirmed four fatalities and two injured, launching inquiries to identify those responsible. Eder was known in Irapuato for his viral humorous videos, dubbed “The authentic YouTuber of Irapuato” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This incident is the second multiple homicide in nine days in Irapuato and the fifth in December in Guanajuato, totaling 22 deaths from massacres this month. The organization Causa en Común records over 40 massacres in the state during 2025, despite official reports of declining intentional homicides. The worst occurred on June 24 in Irapuato, with 11 killed at a patron saint festival.
