Hinch recounted how third-base coach Joey Cora FaceTimed him during a dinner, leading Hinch to cover the bill remotely. “Joey Cora went down to see that group and Facetimed me at a dinner that I didn't know that I was going to pay for at the end of the Fall League,” Hinch said at the Winter Meetings.

McGonigle is expected to receive a non-roster invite to Major League Spring Training, where he will showcase his skills primarily at shortstop, though he has experience at second and third base.
