Valued at $2.3 million, the painting is part of a selection of modern art treasures. Jorge Alcolea, a gallery owner born in 1967 and the event's creator, states that “the work of Botero integrates into a universe of unique jewels from art history”. The salon strengthens its role as a key reference for the European art market, gathering pieces of historical and aesthetic value.
