L'Egitto prepara la seconda fase del programma nazionale dell'OCSE

Il ministro della Pianificazione Ahmed Rostom ha partecipato a una riunione del comitato dell'OCSE per discutere la cooperazione dell'Egitto con l'organizzazione. Ha sottolineato il partenariato di lunga data e ha rivelato i piani per la seconda fase del programma nazionale.

Il ministro della Pianificazione Ahmed Rostom ha partecipato a una riunione del Comitato per le relazioni esterne dell'OCSE per esaminare la cooperazione tra l'Egitto e l'organizzazione. Ha descritto il partenariato come strategico e di lunga data, ricordando le tappe fondamentali dal 2005 e il programma di riforme economiche dell'Egitto del 2016.

La prima fase del programma nazionale si è conclusa con una conferenza al Cairo il 4 maggio, alla presenza del Primo Ministro Mostafa Madbouly. Sono stati presentati dieci rapporti strategici riguardanti l'innovazione, gli investimenti, la crescita verde e altre priorità.

L'Egitto sta ora guidando le consultazioni per la seconda fase, che punterà a riforme più profonde in materia di competitività, governance e sviluppo del settore privato. Il Paese detiene inoltre ruoli di co-presidenza in iniziative regionali dell'OCSE fino al 2030.
