Government processes resignation letters of three OJK commissioners

The Indonesian government has received resignation letters from three members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners addressed to President Prabowo Subianto. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi stated that the letters are being processed according to applicable mechanisms. OJK has also appointed interim replacements to maintain organizational stability.

Jakarta – On Saturday, January 31, 2026, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that the government has received resignation letters from three members of the OJK Board of Commissioners. The resignations are addressed to President Prabowo Subianto and are under further processing. "It's received, already received. Being processed," Prasetyo told reporters at Wisma Danantara, South Jakarta.

Prasetyo explained that the replacement process will follow applicable mechanisms, starting with the determination of resignations after a board meeting. "According to the mechanism, it's the result of the board of commissioners' meeting, sending a letter to Mr. President," he said.
