Gran Turismo 7 update 1.67 adds three new cars and races

The latest update for Gran Turismo 7, version 1.67, has arrived on PlayStation consoles, introducing three new vehicles, fresh races, and additional features. This marks the first content update of 2026, following server maintenance. Players can now access new World Circuits events and a Circuit Experience at an existing track.

Gran Turismo 7's update 1.67 became available on January 29, 2026, after a maintenance period. The patch weighs 999MB on PlayStation 5 and 928MB on PlayStation 4, aligning with the game's typical content updates since launch in 2022. It introduces three new cars purchasable in Brand Central: the Hyundai Elantra N TC 2024 for 280,000 credits, the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 R 2022 for 900,000 credits, and the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra 2025 for 150,000 credits. These additions total 1,330,000 credits, positioning the update as the 20th most expensive among 35 since release. The Porsche enters as the first rear-engined Gr.3 car, priced below recent high-end Gr.3 models like the Ferrari 296 GT3 at 1.2 million credits, while the Elantra N TC, a front-wheel-drive Gr.4 from TCR origins, costs less than the standard 350,000 credits for its category. The Xiaomi exceeds expectations based on real-world pricing, even for its Nürburgring edition, with visual parts available in GT Auto. New World Circuits races tie to these cars: a WTC600 two-lap event at Nürburgring Nordschleife featuring the Xiaomi under a 600PP cap for 115,000 credits; an eight-lap WTC700 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps with Gr.4 cars and a 700PP limit for 140,000 credits; and a ten-lap WTC800 at Mount Panorama for Gr.3 vehicles like the Porsche, capped at 800PP for 200,000 credits. A surprise addition is a new Circuit Experience at Circuit de Sainte-Croix's A course, using the Renault Espace F1, with five sectors offering 6,000 credits each for gold, a full-lap reward up to 30,000 credits, a 200,000-credit completion bonus, and 1,000,000 credits for all golds. The Extra Menu Book 52 challenges players to collect three Hyundai N models—the Elantra N '23 from update 1.63, Ioniq 5N from last year, and N2025 Vision Gran Turismo—for a Five-Star Roulette Ticket. A temporary Seasonal Menu requires the three new cars, rewarding another ticket until February 15, 2026. Five new engine swaps expand customization: FIAT Panda gains the B18 from DC2 Integra Type R (198hp from 29hp); Peugeot 205 GTI gets a 575hp V8 from Suzuki Vision GT; Toyota Crown Athlete adds Pagani Huayra's V12; TVR Tuscan Speed Six receives Jaguar XJR-9's V12; and Elantra N '23 incorporates the Lexus V8. Scapes adds 16 locations in 'Californian Roadsides' across Long Beach, Huntington Beach, and Costa Mesa. Other changes include museum entries for Xiaomi and Hyundai, Data Logger updates, text localizations, and fixes for various issues. No expansions for GT Sophy or new Bonus Menu appear, leaving 19 tracks unsupported.
