Illegal immigrant trucker charged in fatal California crash

An Indian national released into the United States in 2023 allegedly caused a deadly multi-vehicle collision in Lodi, California, while driving a big rig.

Manvir Singh, 24, was arrested after authorities say he failed to stop his truck, hitting vehicles that were slowing down on a highway. Two people died in the crash: 20-year-old Clark James Fojas and a juvenile. Five others were taken to hospitals, with two suffering major injuries.
