No bids have been placed yet on the bankrupt ski resort in Näsfjället, Sälen. Bankruptcy administrator Henric Schef says there have been interested parties, but none have submitted offers. The resort has been for sale since autumn.
The Näsfjället ski resort in Sälen went bankrupt in 2021, after previous companies running it collapsed. Former football players had invested large sums in those companies. Since autumn, the resort has been up for sale, the only way for creditors to recover funds from the bankruptcy. Yet no bids have been made, despite interest from potential buyers. “There have been interested parties,” says bankruptcy administrator Henric Schef. On larger ski industry players, he adds: “In the beginning yes, but no one has placed a bid.” A documentary series, “Fotbollsmiljonerna som försvann” (The football millions that disappeared), is available on SVT Play. Related reports cover prior sale attempts and how the resort was stripped before bankruptcy.
