In a joint statement, PM Abiy noted that Ethiopia, with a population exceeding 130 million, cannot realistically remain landlocked. He highlighted Ethiopia's projected 10.2 percent growth this year and emphasized the need for peaceful diplomatic efforts, supported by Turkey and other allies, to secure sea access. The leaders also expressed agreement on collaborating against terrorism.
