Yulo brothers miss podium in Asian gymnastics events

Carlos and Eldrew Yulo failed to add to their medals at the Asian Gymnastics Championships in Zunyi China on Sunday.

The brothers had won gold and bronze in the men’s floor exercise on Friday. Carlos Yulo placed sixth in the parallel bars final with 13.566 points and scored 13.500 on the horizontal bar.

Eldrew Yulo finished fourth in the horizontal bar with 13.833 points. China’s Zhang Boheng won the parallel bars while Chia-Hung Tang of Chinese Taipei took the horizontal bar.

Carlos posted on Instagram that he was proud to represent the Philippines and grateful for the support received.

Indonesian climber Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi earned silver in the men's speed event at the World Climbing Series Madrid 2026 in Alcobendas, Spain, early Monday WIB.

Eldrew Yulo, an 18-year-old Filipino gymnast, won two bronze medals in floor exercise and horizontal bar at the Cairo leg of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup on April 5 and 6. The achievements add to his three World Cup medals this series. They position him well for qualification to the World Championships in October.
