He highlighted measures to contain inflation and secure essential goods, drawing on international best practices to enhance Egypt's economic competitiveness, with the private sector as a central pillar.
Oechslin commended the government's efforts to mitigate global and regional challenges, protecting citizens and maintaining labour market stability. He reaffirmed the ILO's readiness to support Egypt's national employment agenda through partnerships focused on youth inclusion, entrepreneurship, and labour market policies, with emphasis on "green jobs" and digital transformation.
