EU欧州委員会のデニス・ルドネット貿易担当副事務局長は火曜日、欧州議会の国際貿易委員会に対し、関税や輸入割当を認めるセーフガード措置が、個別の事案ごとに正当化される可能性があると述べた。
ルドネット氏は、中国政府が経済モデルの構造的改革を行うという期待はほとんど持てないと指摘した。また、構造的なリバランスは10月以前には実現しないとの見通しを示した。
