"I've shown my best in every process, from the start until today in the final. Especially from the Malaysia Open, it wasn't easy—keeping focus, mental, body fitness, and all that—so this is one positive thing to take," he added.
Jonatan was candid about the challenges in the final, which differed from the semifinal. Changing wind conditions and unstable shuttlecock response posed issues. "In that match, there were some things different from yesterday. The wind conditions were a bit different, and several times the shuttlecock's feeling and touch were a bit less stable, it was drifting a bit," he revealed.
However, he offered no excuses and praised Lin Chun-Yi's solid performance, which applied strong pressure throughout the match. This achievement highlights Jonatan's continued competitiveness ahead of his appearance at Istora Senayan.
