Polda Metro Jaya has announced that the case file for alleged embezzlement and fraud by the director of PT Melani Citra Permata (Mecimapro), initialed FDM, has been declared complete or P21 by the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. The handover of the suspect and evidence to the public prosecutor is scheduled for tomorrow. The case involves funds for the K-Pop group TWICE's concert in Jakarta on December 23, 2023.
Polda Metro Jaya has revealed that the case file for the alleged embezzlement and fraud by the director of PT Melani Citra Permata (Mecimapro), initialed FDM, has been declared complete or P21 by the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Polisi Budi Hermanto, confirmed this in Jakarta on Thursday.
"Yes, Alhamdulillah, it's already P21, just waiting for stage II," said Budi Hermanto. He added that stage II, the handover of the suspect and evidence to the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of Kejati, will take place on Friday (7/11). "Tomorrow, Friday, November 7, for stage II," he stated.
Earlier, on Tuesday (4/11), Budi Hermanto said they had completed all instructions (P19) from Kejati. "We have now completed all instructions (P19) from the prosecutor's office and will meet with the Prosecutor's Office to resubmit the case file," he said.
The case stems from alleged fraud and embezzlement of funds for the K-Pop group TWICE's concert in Jakarta on December 23, 2023. Head of the Public Information Sub-Division of Polda Metro Jaya's Public Relations, AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak, on Thursday (30/10) explained that investigators had examined nine witnesses and one expert. "We have examined nine witnesses and one expert. The person in question has been detained, meaning they are now a suspect," he revealed. FDM is currently a suspect and detained in connection with the case.
