旅は夜明けの15号線から始まり、ライダーは街を出る登り坂でブラックアイスバーンに注意を払った。ルートはカナブを経由して59号線、389号線、89A号線を進み、その後アリゾナ州に入ってページとホピ居留地に到達した。
