Netflixは、WIT STUDIOが制作を手がける新作アニメ『THE ONE PIECE』の公式ティーザー予告編を公開した。本作は、イーストブルー編からの物語を最新のアニメーション技術を用いて再構築するプロジェクトである。
このリメイク版は、1999年から1,000話以上放送されている長寿アニメシリーズとは一線を画すものとなる。また、Netflixで配信されている実写版『ONE PIECE』とも別プロジェクトであり、実写版は第2シーズンが3月に配信され、第3シーズンが2027年に予定されている。
