South Korean president reaches Delhi for key meeting with Modi

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung arrived in Delhi on Sunday for a three-day state visit. Monday's schedule begins with an official welcoming ceremony and wreath-laying at Gandhi Memorial Park, followed by bilateral talks, an MOU exchange, joint press conference, and a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Modi. Leaders will then attend the Korea-India Business Dialogue and Forum, concluding with a state banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu.

South Korean officials described the visit as the full-scale launch of Global South diplomacy. They aim to lay groundwork for $50 billion bilateral trade by 2030 by accelerating improvements to the Korea-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
