AB Mauri Brasil acquires Casa de Bolos network

AB Mauri Brasil signed an agreement to buy the Casa de Bolos franchise network. The deal still requires regulatory approvals. The transaction value was not disclosed.

AB Mauri Brasil, a subsidiary of Associated British Food and owner of the Fleischmann and Ovomaltine brands, announced the agreement on Friday (22). Casa de Bolos operates more than 600 stores across 20 Brazilian states and projects revenue of R$ 800 million in 2026.

After completion, the network will continue as an independent business unit. The founders will remain with the company, and 80-year-old Sônia Ramos will continue overseeing recipe development.

Danilo Nogueira, general director of AB Mauri Brasil, said the group will support the franchise’s ongoing growth. Fabricio Ramos, one of Casa de Bolos’s founders, noted that the moment marks a new chapter for the brand.
