Al-Sisi hosts Stubb in Cairo for economic and regional talks

He reiterated rejection of Palestinian displacement attempts and stressed the two-state solution as the path to peace. Discussions covered Sudan, Lebanon, and Libya, with backing for a Sudan ceasefire and territorial integrity.

Stubb expressed appreciation for bilateral relations and Finland’s interest in deepening cooperation, as well as ongoing consultations with Cairo on regional and international issues. Both sides noted broad alignment and significant potential for expanded collaboration.
