중국 수리부는 2025년 말 기준 농촌 상수도 보급률이 96%에 도달했다고 화요일 발표했다. 현재 대규모 프로젝트가 농촌 인구의 71%를 담당하고 있으며, 전체 현의 72%가 통합 관리 체계를 도입했다.
2025년 말 기준 중국은 약 382만 개의 농촌 급수 프로젝트를 통해 8억 5천만 명의 주민을 위한 네트워크를 구축했다. 물 저장고나 탱크에 의존하는 인구는 13차 5개년 계획 기간 말 대비 79% 감소했다.
14차 5개년 계획 기간 동안 빈곤에서 벗어난 지역들은 총 9,149억 위안 규모의 수리 프로젝트 투자를 완료했으며, 이 중 중점 현에 투입된 금액은 1,455억 위안이다. 농촌 급수 건설에는 총 5,902억 8천만 위안이 조달되었으며, 지방채, 대출, 민간 자본이 전체의 80%를 충당했다.
수리부는 2026년 말까지 보급률을 97%, 2030년까지 98%로 높이는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
