Several national brands presented garments inspired by the Colombian national team ahead of the upcoming world cup. The collections feature designs ranging from 1990s retro aesthetics to motifs drawn from local folklore and nature.
Brands Agua Bendita, True, Sandia Market, Maaji, Vivant, Rockgotá, Mompossina, Esto es Quindío, Mishka and Ámbar joined the trend. Their proposals reinterpret the tricolor colors using jacquard fabrics, embroidery and prints of orchids, capybaras and jaguars.
Prices range from 84,900 to 430,000 pesos. Agua Bendita offers the most expensive pieces, between 390,000 and 430,000 pesos, while Ámbar and Mishka provide more accessible options starting at 84,900 pesos.
True stands out for its inspiration from 1990s sports fashion with retro typography. Other labels such as Rockgotá and Mompossina incorporate tropical and folkloric elements to link football passion with everyday life.
These collections show how Colombian fashion uses football as a bridge to national identity, according to the companies themselves.
