The AICA Laboratories plant has restarted operations to manufacture cancer drugs. The move aims to supply the national oncology care program despite economic constraints.
The reactivation of the AICA Laboratories cytostatic drug plant followed an investment process to expand capacity. The restart is proceeding in a phased and controlled manner to ensure medication quality. Mayda Mauri Pérez, president of BioCubaFarma, and Minister of Public Health José Angel Portal Miranda visited the facility.
