The Indonesia national team held its final training camp at the Bali United Training Center before heading to Jakarta. The Garuda squad defeated Bali United 3-0 in a closed-door friendly. John Herdman praised the facilities as world class.
Midfielder Ivar Jenner has joined and participated in all training sessions. However, striker Mauro Zijlstra suffered a hamstring injury and is likely to miss part of the tournament. Luke Vickery was earlier ruled out due to lack of club permission.
From 50 players called up, only 23 will travel to the AFF Cup 2026. The first Group A match against Cambodia is scheduled for 27 July at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor. Vietnamese media warned against underestimating the Indonesia team due to experienced naturalized players.
