Jet Greaves has agreed to a new three-year contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets worth 15 million dollars. The deal carries an average annual value of five million dollars and runs through the 2028/29 season. The agreement was reached on Thursday and avoids arbitration.
The 25-year-old goaltender had a breakout 2025/26 NHL season with Columbus. He appeared in 55 games, recorded 26 wins, two shutouts, a .908 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average.
After the regular season Greaves represented Canada at the World Championship in Switzerland. He won six of eight starts and posted a .920 save percentage.
Greaves joined the Blue Jackets organization as an undrafted free agent and has played his entire NHL career with the club. Columbus had offered 2.8 million dollars for next season while Greaves had asked for 7.5 million dollars before the sides settled.
