The union complied with the order, averting classroom disruptions. David Consalvi, secretary general of the governorship, stated that "es una negociación salarial que se da en un contexto de una fragilidad económica nacional extrema".
UEPC's Cristalli voiced frustration over the timing: "Hubiésemos esperado que dejen hacer las medidas y después convoquen". He insisted that any new salary proposal must include "un aumento no inferior al 25% de recupero".
The action aims to foster dialogue between the provincial government and educators amid tensions over lagging wages.
