Netshiunda said: “Their vehicle was spotted, when police tried to stop them, the suspects fled, and they came to this house behind me, which is their hide-out spot where during the operation there was a shootout, they were shot and fatally wounded, two of the suspects were shot in the house, one behind the house and one in the bushes behind the houses.” Four firearms were recovered at the scene. Police are searching for the fifth suspect who escaped. SABC News shared a tweet confirming four people were killed in the shootout with KZN police.
