Indonesia's Social Ministry has confirmed that regular social aid under the Family Hope Program and non-cash food aid for the second quarter will start disbursing in the second week of April 2026. The acceleration is supported by earlier data updates from the Central Statistics Agency. Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf announced this in Jakarta.
The Social Ministry (Kemensos) has confirmed the disbursement of regular social assistance for the Family Hope Program and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in the second quarter will begin in the second week of April 2026. Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf made the statement when met in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 1).
The faster rollout is enabled by earlier updates to beneficiary data using the National Single Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN) from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Previously received on the 20th of each quarter's start, data now arrives on the 10th, such as April 10, July 10, and October 10. "Now every 10th we receive the data update results, which guide monthly aid disbursements. So for this second quarter, it starts in the second week of April," said Saifullah Yusuf.
Disbursements will occur via state-owned bank consortium (Himbara) and PT Pos Indonesia. New beneficiaries without bank accounts will receive aid temporarily through PT Pos before shifting to Himbara next quarter, as account opening takes two to three months. The recipient quota remains at 18 million beneficiary families (KPM).
The minister urged recipients to use the aid wisely and gradually join social empowerment programs for greater independence, in line with President Prabowo's hopes.
