Xbox version of Avatar Legends fighting game delayed to September

Developers announced a delay for the Xbox edition of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game less than 24 hours before its planned launch. The Nintendo Switch version launched on schedule but without several promised features.

PM Studios stated that the Xbox release was postponed to September 3 due to unforeseen circumstances with a backend feature. Pre-orders will not be cancelled automatically.

The Nintendo Switch edition became available on July 23 with only the standard version. Cross play, additional localisations and the deluxe edition were not included at launch.

Developers said they remain committed to adding the missing elements to the Switch version as soon as possible. Community feedback on the Xbox delay announcement was largely negative.

An open beta for the game had received mostly positive responses before the launch issues emerged.
