Suspects in the alleged Jokowi diploma defamation case, Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma or Dr. Tifa, underwent inpatient treatment at RS Polri Kramat Jati following a health examination on Friday night.
They arrived at the hospital around 17:55 WIB under escort from Polda Metro Jaya and were immediately taken to the Emergency Installation. Lawyer Refly Harun stated that Dr. Tifa experienced a relapse of GERD due to not eating since morning and high stress.
Refly explained that Roy Suryo and Dr. Tifa are generally in good condition but have congenital diseases requiring medical monitoring. He declined to detail Roy Suryo's diagnosis and noted the condition affects about 30 percent of Indonesians.
Refly also announced plans to request suspension of detention as his clients are cooperative and the case file handover to prosecutors is scheduled for Monday. As of Friday night both remain under treatment at the hospital.
