AHL announces 2025-26 All-Rookie Team

The Pittsburgh draft pick from 2022 earned his first NHL win with a shutout in Stockholm on Nov. 16, 2025. Defensemen Tyson Jugnauth (Coachella Valley Firebirds) led rookie blueliners with 44 points in 70 games, while Dmitri Simashev (Tucson Roadrunners) averaged 0.88 points per game in 40 outings after a KHL title. Forwards Isaac Howard and Quinn Hutson powered Bakersfield Condors scoring, with Hutson leading rookies at 61 points. Ilya Protas topped all rookies with 62 points for Hershey Bears, marking the sixth-most by a teenager in AHL history.
