Rasmus Dahlin named to NHL Second All-Star Team

Rasmus Dahlin has been selected as the only Swedish player on the NHL's official All-Star Teams for the 2025/26 season. The Buffalo Sabres captain earned a spot on the Second All-Star Team as a defenseman.

NHL announced the First and Second All-Star Teams on Thursday. The selections were voted on by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association after the regular season.

Dahlin, 26, recorded 74 points in 77 games with 19 goals and 55 assists. He finished fourth in voting among defensemen.

The Second All-Star Team includes Dahlin alongside Evan Bouchard on defense. Forwards are Cole Caufield, Nathan MacKinnon and David Pastrnak, with Logan Thompson in goal.

The First All-Star Team features Zach Werenski and Cale Makar on defense. Other Swedes received votes but were not selected.
