The military exercise Aurora 26 is underway with over 18,000 participants from 13 countries. In Dalarna around 600 soldiers are taking part as the drill enters its final phase.
The exercise takes place on land, at sea and in the air. A large share of the activities unfolds in southern Sweden, on Gotland and in the Baltic Sea.
Company commander Johan Nestor said during a visit near Rommehed that most of the battalion has been activated for the Dalarna part.
In total about 600 soldiers are training alongside international forces during Aurora 26.
