DC announces mobile tag fighter DCKO for 2027

DC has revealed DCKO, a free-to-play tag fighter for mobile devices developed by Drop Fake. The game features characters from the DC Comics universe and is scheduled to launch in 2027.

The announcement came on July 20. DCKO includes a roster with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and John Constantine. Pre-registration is now open ahead of the planned release.

The title is not Injustice 3. Fans have long speculated about a third entry in the Injustice series, which last received a sequel in 2017, but no official confirmation has been made.

Mobile controls are expected to limit precision compared with controllers or fight sticks. Some players have expressed hope that the game could reach consoles and PC later.
