Delhi government to issue smart property cards in Lal Dora villages

The Delhi government will soon issue smart property cards to residents of Lal Dora villages after completing surveys in 30 of 48 targeted areas under the SVAMITVA scheme.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the move in a release on Tuesday following a review meeting. The cards aim to create authenticated digital records for areas that have long lacked formal documentation.

Surveys under an agreement with the Survey of India have covered 12,232 properties so far. Of these, 8,423 are dispute-free, and officials have begun generating the corresponding QR-enabled cards.

All surveyed properties in the South and North West districts are dispute-free. Work continues to resolve disputes in other districts before issuing the remaining cards.
