Melbourne garage rock band Eddy Current Suppression Ring has put out its first proper album in seven years. The self-released In Light of Recent Events arrived on May 26 and is available to stream now.
The 11-track record follows the group's 2019 album All in Good Time. It includes songs such as Self Sabotage, Bop, and On My Way Home. The band issued a three-song EP called Shapes and Forms in July 2025 and played a free concert at Melbourne's Fed Square in September of that year.
