GameStop launches Power Packs Pokémon platform to public

GameStop announced on April 14, 2026, that its digital Power Packs trading card platform will become available to the general public starting April 15. The service features randomized packs of PSA-graded Pokémon TCG cards across multiple price tiers. Previously limited, the platform expands access following a beta phase.

GameStop shared the news via its X account, stating: “today announced Power Packs, its digital trading card platform, is launching to the general public beginning on April 15, 2026.” The retailer did not specify geographic availability, though prior offerings appeared U.S.-focused. This marks a shift to broader access for the service, which blends digital purchasing with physical card delivery options. The platform originated as a physical product in early 2025 through GameStop's partnership with PSA, a trading card authenticator. A digital beta followed in July 2025, enabling users to select from six tiers. Cards can be shipped directly or stored and sold back via the PSA Vault. Higher-end packs, such as the $2,500 Lunar tier, offer chances at valuable items like a PSA 10 graded Celebi #145 from the Pokémon Skyridge set, estimated at $31,332. The Power Packs site discloses a 29.4 percent chance of drawing a card worth more than $2,500 across options. Lower-tier details, starting at $25 for the Starter pack, remain less detailed publicly.
