Ideam alerta sobre temperaturas acima do normal em maio

O Ideam relatou um aumento generalizado nas temperaturas máximas durante a primeira semana de maio, com valores próximos ou acima dos recordes históricos em várias regiões do país.

O Instituto de Hidrologia, Meteorologia e Estudos Ambientais alertou para condições de calor persistentes, especialmente na região do Caribe, San Andrés e alguns municípios do interior. Cidades como Valledupar registraram 38 °C, superando sua média histórica mensal em 3,8 °C.

O relatório detalhou aumentos em Barrancabermeja, Cúcuta, Medellín e Bogotá, onde uma máxima de 22,2 °C foi atingida em 5 de maio. O número de alertas para incêndios em vegetação também subiu, com 24 municípios sob alerta vermelho.

Segundo o Ideam, um sistema anticiclônico manterá céus limpos e altas temperaturas pelo menos até o início da semana de 11 a 17 de maio. Espera-se um aumento gradual da nebulosidade e diminuição das temperaturas máximas a partir de 12 e 13 de maio.

O instituto também prevê que, em maio, grande parte do país terá chuvas abaixo dos valores normais, especialmente nas regiões Andina, Caribe e do Pacífico.
