Kipp Popert debuts on DP World Tour at Austrian Alpine Open

Kipp Popert, a 27-year-old Englishman with cerebral palsy, competed in his first DP World Tour event this week at the Austrian Alpine Open. He shot rounds of 75 and 69 to miss the cut but expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

Popert, who has a form of cerebral palsy that affects his lower body, arrived at the event after winning the U.S. Adaptive Open three straight years. He previously competed in the R&A Amateur Championship in 2022 but had never played on the DP World Tour until Thursday's first round in Austria.
