All Swedish regions give gifts to employees after 25 years, but the value varies greatly according to a survey.
A survey by the magazine Sjukhusläkaren shows that regions reward long service in different ways. Västra Götalandsregionen offers gifts up to 14 375 kronor.
Region Östergötland provides memorial gifts worth between 8 000 and 15 000 kronor, with options such as trips or bicycles. Lower amounts are noted in other areas.
Region Norrbotten gives the smallest value at 3 750 kronor. Gotland and Uppsala are close with 4 000 kronor each.
